The United Way and Child Safety Center will be hosting a Community Forum on Youth and Children Mental Health on Tuesday, September 16th.
Mental health concerns and causes are at epidemic levels. Not only adults, but also children, are affected by societal issues that present in some as a mental health concern. Technology, the affects of social media, and other external causes can greatly affect young people.
Join us as we bring panels of experts together to discuss adverse childhood experiences, the affects of technology on mental health, and provide resources to ultimately build resilience in our children.
This event will be held at the Searcy High School Performing Arts Center and is a free event. However, lunch and other materials will be provided so you must pre-register at the link below.
If you are 55 or older and meet certain income requirements, want to re-enter the workforce, and/or learn new skills to seek employment opportunities, AARP is seeking interested applicants.
We are excited to be partnering with AARP to host a part-time participant in the United Way of White County offices.
