Our Vision
We envision a community where all individuals and families can achieve their potential through the building blocks for a better life: health, education, and financial stability.Mission Statement
To increase the organized capacity of people in White County to care for one another.
History
United Way of White County was formed in 1979. Mr. Floyd (Zeke) Chronister and Mr. Albert Yarnell along with a group of business men became concerned because there were too many different fundraisers in the community. Their vision was to have one large fundraiser to benefit many causes rather than have many different fundraisers benefiting one cause at a time.
